Touch Can Be A Catalyst for Awareness

I encountered two messages this week that I wish to share. The first is "be kinder to yourself and others,' and the second is "look to your center and be present." As the days pass, the need to adapt and move is critically thrust upon us. There isn't always a clear map of what that means, and yet we're required to move forward. Moving forward will be different for each of us. For some, it can be sitting quietly and resting,  and for others, it can be completing various projects, and still others, it can be even more different.

So, we must be kinder to ourselves and others as we manage this season.

There are things that you will forget, get wrong, and miss out on performing. It would help to extend yourself some grace. In those moments, you may find you’re upset or disconnected from yourself. Remember, your breath and body can help you locate your center. You can use a self-care minute to guide your attention back to being present in your body.

Touch is a clear catalyst for relating to self and bringing us closer to a state of acceptance and being. Tactility awakens awareness and can provide assistance and comfort. Below is a simple hand massage video that can alleviate hand and wrist tension and create a field of wellness.

This three-minute massage can provide relief to fatigued hands. Just make sure you do the other side for a total of a whole six-minutes. Click the picture below or use this link. If I can assist, please reach out.
